TORRICELLO - CAPO VATICANO
In front of the Aeolian islands in the sea south of Tropea, nestling amongst the beautiful green coastline of Capo Vaticano, this remote old fortress/castle provides an ideal holiday for those who really wish to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The property offers accommodation in self-catering apartments close to each other, distributed on various levels and connected by staris, terraces and pathways.

Most of the apartments have internal spiral staircases and ceiling fans in the bedrooms; they are simply but comfortably furnished.

Guests can use various communal areas and facilities including the garden with shared salt water swimming pool (open all year round), sun lounges and chair, canoes the billiard/pool room, the table tennis/table football room, TV room, a communal terrace with BBQ for meals.

The owner, will, on request, prepare excellent authentic Calabrian meals for his guests, using genuine organic ingredients, to be enjoyed either in the open air or in the vaulted indoor common room. Santa Maria, the nearest town is approx 3km away by road.

The sandy/pebbly beach is reached directly from the property and is paradise for snorkelers and nature lovers.

 



Please note that to reach your apartment and other amenities, you will have to use steps.
For this reason we would not recommend this property to families with young children and people with walking difficulties.

Please note that the road leading to the complex is a steep non-asphalted road, but there is a spacious grassy parking area not far from the entrance.

This is a two bedroom apartment right at the top, in the old tower. It has two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with shower, kitchen and small lounge with possibility to add an extra bed. Two terraces.
