VILLA DEL RE - ANACAPRI
Villa Del Re is a magnificent house in Anacapri built on four levels within beautiful grounds. The villa with its gardens, terraces and pool has wonderful views of the Capri island. It is 5 minutes away from the shopping centre of Anacapri and about 3.5km from the famous 'Grotta Azzurra' (Blue Grotto).
On the third floor is the main garden with the swimming pool and barbeque.

The main entrance is from the upper part of the property, passing the wonderful, white roof in a typical Capri style with vaulted ceilings and skylights.

At the top of the house is a large kitchen, covered with traditional Vietri tiles and large dining table.

On the first level there are three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, nicely furnished and have panoramic views of the sea.

The first bedroom is spacious and has a queen size bed with en-suite bathroom with bathtub. Doors lead out onto a terrace. There is a small studio furnished with a sofa that has access to the living room.

The second double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub has been decorated with flower painting in 'Trompe l'oeil' murals.

The master suite, which was formerly an elegant library, has been transformed into a spacious bedroom with doors leading out to a terrace, en-suite bathroom with tub.

The living room is decorated with antique Mediterranean style furniture.

 

Descending further down the staircase you have access to the garden.

Stairs lead down to the ground floor where there is a twin bedroom (can be made as a double) with en-suite bathroom with shower and a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub. Both bedrooms have access to the terrace. A small internal window connects these two bedrooms.

Annexe: The Annexe is accessed via the garden and up a few stairs. There is a small living room with doors leading out onto a small patio. There are two bedrooms with twin beds (can be made as a double), en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs. One of these bedrooms has doors leading out to the garden. Stairs lead down to the pool deck.

The main garden with wonderful flowers and plants and a swimming pool equipped with chairs and sun lounges. In addition there is also a barbeque and a pizza oven which is at guests' disposal during the week.

Villa Del Re is staffed with two people: the housekeeper and the gardener. Breakfast in the morning is included in the price and so the daily cleaning 6 days a week from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00p.m.

Facilities: Internet ADSL, Satellite TV, telephone, heating, parking, pool, laundry service, continental breakfast, daily maid service, air conditioning only in the 5 bedrooms of the main villa.
