Sailing, windsurfing and waterskiing are available nearby in Stresa, Belgirate and Lesa; there is a tennis court and public Olympic sized swimming pool 5mins drive away.
Villa Altea
Villa Altea lies between the towns of Arona, with its picturesque views of the Lombard and Piedmontese shores of the lake from the statue of San Carlo Borromeo (23m high), and the town of Meina. The villa is set on a hill and offers beautiful views over Lake Maggiore.

Villa Azolina
Villa Azolina is an elegantly furnished villa with private swimming pool. It is located in a quiet, residential area between San Maurizio and the town of Verbania. This beautiful villa is only 1.5km going down to the lake. The town of Verbania is very pleasant with a good choice of shops, restaurants and bars. The market is also very popular which is held on the weekend. There is also the ferry terminal so that you can explore the many beautiful towns along the lake. For those who are more active there are lovely areas in the valleys where you can do mountain biking or hiking.
In the garden there is a lovely private swimming pool of irregular shape (12m x 7m) with sun loungers, table, chairs and umbrella and a gazebo where guests can dine al fresco in the summer

Excellent location between the centre of Pallanza and the ferry launches with a truly unique historical garden facing the lake. The property enjoys an uninterrupted view of the lake and the island where Toscanini had his holiday home and includes a manicured garden on the lake with roses, azaleas, rhododendrons, and camellias and two century old magnolias.
Perfect for honeymooners. Living room with arched ceilings, double bedroom separated by an arch (no door) and a bathroom with a tub (located downstairs). Kitchen diner opening onto a beautiful, romantic terrace overlooking the lake. Dishwasher, 4 ring hob and oven. Please note that the spiral stairs leading to the bathroom are very narrow and could be a problem for people with walking difficulties. Close to the bathroom there is a door that can connect Duet when the two apartments are rented together.
