How to get to Liguria
The region of Liguria is divided into four provinces of Imperia, Savona, Genoa and La Spezia. You can fly to the main airport, in Genoa. Thanks to national and international airlines’ flights, the airport in Genoa is connected with the main Italian and European cities. Also, Genova Piazza Principe and Genova Brignole stations are two of the most important Italian railway stations, so once you get here you can choose among different types of transportation.
Moreover, buses and trains link Genoa with many of the coastal towns and villages, the best way to access the Cinque Terre, which are closed to non-resident traffic. In summer, ferry services also hop from harbour to harbour.
