We had a wonderful 5 days at this trullo. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The location is excellent, allowing you to enjoy quiet time but close enough to experience the surrounding towns in a beautiful area of Italy. Alan, our host, was exceptional in assisting us with local knowledge regarding must-see places and restaurants, where he went over and above to make our stay the best it could be. There was a welcome basket with delicious Italian treats and he even brought us freshly baked focaccia! ������ We would highly recommend this villa to families and groups of friends – it was a lovely experience to stay in a traditional Trulli.

Where to start? This holiday for us was absolutely wonderful.\n\nAlan was simply fantastic, he was kind and helpful, he fixed any issues we had straight away. What stood out to both my husband and I, the most, was when I messaged Alan asking if there was a fan for the living room as our daughter had a fever of 40 degrees and we couldn’t get the living room cool enough. Within 2 hours he showed up at the Trulli with a brand new stand alone fan that we were able to use to help keep her cool. He made sure he did everything he could to ensure our trip was as smooth and relaxing as possible.\n\nAny time we needed information, he provided us with great local knowledge and brilliant tips.\n\nThe Trulli was gorgeous, so beautiful and had great privacy too. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time looking for satellites with our kids and playing in the pools. The rooms were lovely and the beds were super comfortable. The air-conditioning made the hot Italian summer bearable!\n\nMy kids were so happy to have a TV with netflix on it, such an added bonus! Especially when my daughter was very unwell.\n\nIt was really such a great experience and we are so lucky we were able to spend 6 days in Ostuni at this villa.\n\nWe’d all go back in a heartbeat.

Had a great week in May 2022. A house in a unique location with enormous cool accommodation. Driveway imagines you are in a movie after which, hidden behind trees, the villa appears. Space, tranquility and luxury. Enjoyed the indoor pool (outside was still too fresh), had a delicious breakfast on the terrace and made use of the outdoor kitchen + pizza oven.\n\nTable tennis, stones (in) colors and wood gathering. Spacious parking lot and a short distance from Ostuni (8 km by car).\n\nMichele (caretaker) is a nice guy who makes you feel at ease right away. Help provided by him by showing us the way for the first shopping and reserving a few restaurants. He also designated a large number of “must see”.\n\nVilla is very clean. Even mid-week cleaning.\n\nLast night was a magnificent local restaurant with great food and very friendly people.\n\nA great experience richer + super memory with our family.

We had a truly magical week here. From start to finish it was incredible relaxing and everything we needed. The main Trulli, stone house and grounds full of olive trees are just beautiful – the indoor pool was a real bonus especially as we were there in October when it got a little colder later in the day. We were lucky enough though to have sunny days and be able to sit around the wonderful new outdoor pool and enjoy the stunning views over the surrounding countryside. We were 2 families and there was plenty of room for all of us – the grounds are made up with lots of different terraces and places to sit and relax. We enjoyed the pizza oven and had fun time all making pizzas. The house is kitted out with everything you need. Alan was so helpful from start to finish – always responsive on messages. He arranged for a “Welcomer” to greet us on arrival – Michele went above and beyond what we expected. He recommended day trips, booked tours and tables in fabulous local restaurants for us – far better than most hotel concierge! It was lovely meeting Alan and his family when they came to harvest the olives – they even let us join in and help which was a wonderful experience. It is a very special place and we will definitely be back.

We had a wonderfully relaxing, happy stay at this trullo. Alan and Selene went out of their way to make our visit comfortable. They were thoughtful attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Perfect, professional hosts. The property is unique and a testament to the work of their family to make it perfect. The location is beautiful – safe, sunny, secure and delightful.

We are a family of 4 (husband and I plus our 5 year old twins) from London and we stayed at this fabulous trullo in April 2019. Communication both before and during our stay was quick, efficient and extremely helpful. Our main concierge support during our stay was Angela. Angela was so helpful, suggesting places to visit as well as restaurants to go, assuring us that she is always available should we need anything. Well done Angela. Well done. We have just spent an amazing 5 days family holiday at this trullo. The location was lovely, so peaceful. Truly Paradise. The accommodation lacked for nothing with a fully functional kitchen, clean bedrooms and bathrooms, a lovely heated indoor pool and an outside heated Jacuzzi. Angela was so friendly and extremely helpful. No request was too much trouble for her. She suggested and even booked some lovely restaurants for us. Such an asset.

It truly felt like paradise – set in total tranquility among olive groves – not a sound except for the chirping of birds, the buzzing of bees and the rustling of leaves. The property was lovely and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a relaxing break. I surely miss cooking and enjoying breakfast on the most amazing terrace every morning. The outdoor jacuzzi and the indoor pool were also super. The property also has a table tennis area which was great fun. The property surely deserves 5 stars and our hostess Angela was the cherry on the cake. She was ever so friendly and extremely helpful all throughout our stay. She was always literally a message away and was always so quick to suggest places to visit, restaurants to dine in and any amendments to our planned itenanary. She even reserved our table at all the restaurants and each one was fantastic. She couldn’t have been any more hospitable and that surely added to our truly enjoyable time there. It was a fantastic, truly unforgettable holiday in a true Puglia paradise. We will be back!

Sensational! Just got back from an amazing stay at this Trullo. This property is amazing…so peaceful and the view is something out of movies. It has an outdoor jacuzzi and indoor spa, table tennis, cosy living area (with Netflix also available), large outdoor grounds overlooking olive trees. Angela was so helpful…she gave us a warm welcome and even booked some amazing restaurants for us. She also recommended some places we should visit. We were not disappointed. Puglia is beautiful, the Trullo was magical and Angela was first class. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

A beautiful place in Valle d'Itria! Magic Trulli!

This place is perfect if you dream of a relaxing holiday immersed in the lush valley of Itria in Puglia. Upon arrival you are surrounded by the area’s famous ‘trulli’ also known as cone-shaped houses, and century-old olive trees. Right in the middle of some of Puglia’s most famous towns: Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino and Martina Franca. Trulli of the Stars is the perfect base to explore this incredible part of Italy.

This trullo for a stellar holiday. A magnificent structure nestled in the countryside, 20 minutes from the beautiful sea of the coast of Ostuni, equipped with all the necessary comforts to spend an unforgettable holiday. Fantastic indoor pool, usable in all weather conditions and in the evening, accompanied by lights and music and an excellent cocktail prepared at home with the tools present. The kitchen is fully equipped. Each room is decorated tastefully with solutions derived from typical equipment of Puglia. An excellent example of restructuring oriented to comfort integrated perfectly with tradition.

A place so beautiful you never want to leave! The trullo is everything you want from a holiday home: spacious, elegant, comfortable, conveniently located. Actually, the place itself is so beautiful that you might even forget to go out to visit the ravishing towns in the area or to spend a day in the crystalline waters of the coast nearby. Ostuni and Cisternino are not far away, yet the feeling is one of splendid isolation, on the top of a little hill with a view on few other trulli standing out in the green like distant castles. We went there with small children and we had a very happy time in the evenings cooking a pizza in the outdoor oven, grilling sausages and vegetables on the barbecue on the large terrace, where there is an extra fully equipped kitchen, or making dinner in the main kitchen indoors. A trullo never gets too hot and this one in particular is well protected from the intense heat of the Apulian summer thanks to a gentle breeze that never failed to show up in the evening. Clio and her family are amazing too, and they provide guests with help, information, guidance and, what’s most important, warmth: her sons speak near perfect English and are a goldmine of stories about the region. This trullo is an ideal location for families who want to share a holidays with friends while keeping some privacy, as there is enough room to accommodate several groups. My husband and I cannot recommend it enough, it’s a very special place which I would like to visit in the winter as well. I suspect might be just as beautiful, maybe even more so.

This resort is composed of two Trulli houses, the roof of the second being the terrasse of the other. The structure is amazingly beautiful, giving you the feeling of a desertic Tatooine village. The area is extremely quiet, surrounded by a sea of olive trees in all directions. There is a gas station at less than 1 kilometers, with a small shop\/bakery. So that is very useful if you need to buy small stuff on the fly. The shop is opened from 6am including Sundays, so every day you can have fresh bread and croissants for the breakfast. The inner swimming pool is a bliss, hugely appreciated by kids and parents alike, also for the air conditioning that is a delight when the outside temperature is 40 degrees. Please note the running water cannot officially be drank. This was not a huge problem for us, as you can still cook, brush your teeth, wash, etc. But it does mean you have to buy a big quantity of water bottles. Our contact Leandro was very helpful, allowing the checkin and checkout to go very smoothly.

We enjoyed a week at this trullo. This place is well set up for large groups, and equally so for our small family. We chose Trulli of the Stars over many other Trulli options becase it has a secure pool (with lockable access doors etc), which helps with an adventurous 2.5 year old. ToS was a great choice for so much more than just that feature. Beautiful terrace with a bucolic outlook for breakfast, lunch and dinner, outdoor cooking area with pizza oven and refrigerator, hot tub and many nice places to sit and relax both indoor and out. Leandro was professional, responsive and caring about all our questions and requests.
